Lime and Rum Coconut Macaroons Recipe

Ingredients 

  • 3 egg whites

  • 1/4 cup of sugar 

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract 

  • 4 cups shredded coconut

  • 1 tbsp rum (optional for 21+)

  • Zest of lime 

Instructions 

  1. Mix ingredients together in a bowl

  2. Let rest for 10 minutes 

  3. Use a spoon or scoop to form a macaroon shape 

  4. Place onto parchment-lined baking sheet 

  5. Bake at 350°F for 15 - 18 mins 

  6. Remove when golden brown 

  7. Allow to cool
